Groundnut Chutney

Ingredients: 


Groundnuts              -  100 gms
Red chillies              -   5 nos
Garlic                      -  5 pearsls
Grated coconut        -  1 table spoon
Jeera                       -  1 tea spoon
Jaggery                    -  1 pinch
Asafoitida                -  1 pinch
Cooking oil              -  1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds         -  1 tea spoon
Salt to taste


1.  Heat 1/2 tea spoon oil in a kadai and add the groundnuts and red chillies.
2.  Once the groundnut turns brown switch off the stove and add the garlic and asafoitida and stir and cook in the leftover heat itself.
3.  Once the groundnut mixture cools add jeera, salt and jaggery and grind it adding little water to make a paste.
4.  Heat oil in the kadai and add the mustard seeds and once it crackles add it to the chutney.
5.  Ground nut chutney ready.  Serve with rice, roti or dosa.
