Ingredients:
Raw Mango - 1 small
Black gram dal - 2 table spoons
Green chilies - 2 nos
Garlic - 4 - 6 pearls
Curry leaves - a few leaves
Jeera - 1 tea spoon
Jaggery (Gur) - 1/2 tea spoon
Ghee - 1 table spoon
Salt to taste
1. Heat ghee in a kadai, add black gram dal and fry till golden brown.
2. Remove the kadai from stove and add the green chilies, garlics, curry leaves and stir them along with dal and heat them also.
3. Wash and cut mangoes and once the dal mixture is cool, add the mangoes, gur and salt and grind coarsely.
4. Serve with roti/ paratha/ idli/ dosa or rice.
